Episode - 126 - "Let's Cancel the Cancel Culture"

Trice Talk Saturday Night "Mini-Pod" w/ Donald Wayne.  Ok - tonight's show is back to being a true "Mini-Pod" for a change.  It focuses on one subject and is a little over 30 minutes long.  I thought after the week we all have had - I would "ease up" a little tonight.  The subject is:
Cancel Culture - which includes a brief description of Cancel Culture by Dr. Steven Mintz,  brief comments by Fox News Steve Doocy and Clay Travis and a 7 minute dialogue by Bill Maher about the ills of Cancel Culture.  I also talk about a few of the people that have attacked by the Cancel Culture mob....some successfully and not so much - like Chick-fil-A.  How did Liberals go from being the ones that believed that people had the right to say whatever they want regardless of who they offend to being the ones who want to censor anything that they disagree with?

Trice Talk Friday Night "Mini-Pod" w/Donald Wayne.  Well we made it through another week.  And I want to thank all of you who have stuck with me this week - a la solo without any Dennis Lee to dilute some of my rants against "The Machine".  With a little luck - maybe he will return on Sunday night.  One can hope.

An Article in the New York Times - "There Is No Good Reason You Should Have to Be a Citizen to Vote" - a guest essay by Atossa Araxia Abrahamian - (who by the way is not a citizen herself).
I also play a short clip from Fox News Primetime where Tammy Bruce is questioning Stephen Miller - former Trump Adviser - about the same subject.

Trice Talk Thursday Night "Mini-Pod" - Not So Mini Tonight w/Donald Wayne.  Well - Dennis Lee couldn't be with me tonight so I did a kind of Trice Talk slash "Mini-Pod".  Which really translates to - a longer "Mini-Pod" than normal.  Tonight's topics:
"That Lil Old Band From Texas"  - As most people have heard by now, ZZ Top bassist - Dusty Hill passed away in his sleep the other day.  I share a few facts about Dusty's Life and a couple of quick personal notes.
Illegal Immigrants Who Test Positive for COVID-19: Texas Police - an article from THE EPOCH TIMES - by Zachary Stieber.  This article tells about a group of illegal immigrants that went into a Whataburger in one border town - and was coughing and sneezing and not wearing mask.
"Comedy is Racist" - and article from Mike Huckabee's Evening Edition newsletter for July 28th.  The article contains a link to a story on Fox News about Robin DiAngelo and her opinions about white people and racism.

Episode - 223 - "An A-Hole With a Whistle" - "Only In America"

Trice Talk Wednesday Night "Mini-Pod" w/Donald Wayne.  I had originally intended to do an episode on the most current debacle at our Southern Border.  Especially since the Biden Bunch is hinting a return to mass masking,  while at the same time they are transporting illegal immigrants (migrants if your a Liberal) to a variety of cities all around the country (coming to a location near you - soon).  But I found a story on Mike Huckabee's Morning Edition Newsletter (for July 28th) that along with an accompanying link - inspired me to change my mind.
The article is titled "Leftist Idiots Blow Whistle on GOP for Asking Questions".  This article is about Four Republican members of Congress that had a press conference on the steps of the Department of Justice, to express their concerns about treatment of those jailed for participating in the Capitol Hill "breach" on January 6th.  According to them, they have tried to meet with Attorney General Merrick Garland - with no success as yet.  
I share a few of the comments by Mike Huckabee and then play an audio excerpt of the press conference.   It only takes a little over a minute before some Left Wing Idiot (my assumption) in the crowd starts blowing a whistle.  And he keeps blowing the whistle throughout most of the press conference (but you can tell when he gets tired).  It is annoying - but try to hang in there for the entire 15 minutes so that you can hear the concerns of the representatives, as well as the crowd that tries to disrupt the conference.
As the p/c progresses, people in the crowd tend to get louder and more disruptive - and some even start walking behind the speakers, holding protest signs.  See if you can hear what song someone breaks into while the representatives are speaking.  And when you figure it out, see if you think it is ironic that they choose that song to try and disrupt the p/c.  And oh yeah - I do stop the tape a few times when I feel compelled to comment.  If you have listened to any of our podcast before - you expect that from me.
Finally - the press conference has to be stopped  because of the crowd and then you hear the reporter covering the p/c make some comments about the crowd and that idiot blowing the whistle.  I came away from watching the video (which I hope you will be able to link to when I post the Huckabee page on Facebook) with a renewed disgust of the tactics used by the Left to silence anyone who does not follow their warped line of thinking - and especially if you are a conservative/Republican.   But I was also made aware of some issues that I was not that aware of before.  Hopefully - if the Republicans keep pushing - maybe the truth will eventually come out.

Episode - 222 - "Do Toddlers Use Race To Exclude Playmates?"

Trice Talk Tuesday Night "Mini-Pod" w/Donald Wayne.  Yes - tonight is usually a regular Trice Talk Episode with yours truly and Dennis Lee.  However Dennis couldn't be on tonight - hence the "Mini-Pod".  Hopefully he will be with me on Thursday night.  Tonight's topics:
Commentary about the January 6th Capitol breach.  Even though the hearing about the Capitol breach is in progress, I want to give it at least another day to see if they can start answering some real questions instead of spouting the same rhetoric we are accustomed to.  But this commentary contains a few thoughts about that day and the insanity of assuming the purpose was to overthrow the election results and keep Donald Trump as President.
Hasbro Suspends Critical Race Training Whistleblower, Says Report 'Mischaracterizes Our Values'  ....from the Epoch Times by GQ Pan.  David Johnson - the whistleblower revealed the training criteria taught by The Conscious Kid.  This training in part states "By age 3, children are already starting to apply stereotypes, and research shows that they also may use racist language intentionally at this age.  White children at this age may report explicit or overt negative attitudes towards people of color."  Yeah.  Another enlightened group trying to sew seeds of guilt in children.  Brainwash them before the become old enough to know better and push back against these "nutty" ideas.

Episode - 221 - "Maybe Liberal's Are Focusing on Reprograming The Wrong People"

Trice Talk Monday Night "Mini-Pod" w/Donald Wayne.  On tonight's show I focus on only one story.  While I realize that there have been and unfortunately will continue to be stories that are more horrible and have a worse outcome than this one, that does not take away from the cruelty of this story.
I first saw this story and video on Fox News earlier today.  But for tonight's episode I found an article on NEWSMAX.com by Sandy Fitzgerald, which I will post on our Facebook page.  The article contains a link to the 17 second video that captures the beating of a 68 year old man.
New York Police Union: 'Failed Laws' Let to Brutal Sunday Morning Mugging - from NEWSMAX.com by Sandy Fitzgerald.  A mugger who was riding a bike, approached a 68 year old man around 9:05 a.m. Sunday morning.  He proceeded to punch the old man almost a dozen times and then robbed him.

Episode - 218 - "Busses and Plane's - Oh My!" - "Who's Footing that Bill?"

Trice Talk "Mini-Pod" for Friday Night w/Donald Wayne.  There are more questions than answers concerning what is going on at our Southern Border.  Tonight's topics are:
The first topic is a short interview of Michael Savage, nationally syndicated talk show host, on the Newsmax show Cortez and Pellegrino.  He was on the show to talk about his interview of Donald Trump, but had to get his two cents in about the border crisis.  
 
The second topic is a story - also from Newsmax by Eric Mack - titled  "McAllen (Texas) City Manager Warns Migrants Maxing Out Bus System."  This article reveals a little detail that I haven't heard in the media, that says a local charity is paying for some or all of the "tickets out of town" for the "illegal immigrants."
 
The last topic is a story - again from Newsmax by Nick Koutsobinas  - titled "Texas Governor's Border Wall Construction Starts Along Rio Grande."  It looks like Texas is going to do what it said it was going to do.  And that is do the Federal Governments job.  Even though it may be awhile before the effects of this project start impeding the flow of illegals across the border, at least this is a signal to Washington DC that they are not going to take this illegal action "sitting down."
