Trice Talk
Trice Talk is in it’s 3rd Season on Podbean and is hosted by Donald Wayne, a conservative voice with an open mind. Our goal at Trice Talk is not to tell you what you should think or do. Instead, we share information, and of course opinions, then leave the rest up to you. While a lot of our Episodes are dominated by political and social issues, we try to break away from all the serious stuff at least once a week, to just have fun. Once Trice Talk begins its regular schedule, there will be a mixture of live and pre-recorded Episodes. Also, plans are in the works to do live video broadcast as well. On this Sunday night episode - Donald Wayne and Dennis Lee talk about last weeks Town Hall ratings war; Joe Biden's comments about cops "shooting people in the leg" and his repeated denials that he was not involved in any of his son's dealings with foreign interests. The guys also talk about Trump back on the trail in California and Nevada. Thanks to Eric as always for his participation in the show. This Episode of Friday Frivolity - is dedicated to TV & Movie Stars that dabble in singing and/or playing in a band. Donald Wayne and Dennis Lee play a number of soundbites featuring celebrities singing/playing in bands or solo. This segment features - Billy Bob Thornton, Robert Downey Jr., Jamie Foxx, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin Bacon, Steve Martin, Jared Letto, Juliette Lewis and many more.
Of course the guys got off track a few times, and the show teetered close to that proverbial line towards the end of the show. But everyone seemed to have fun tonight and that is what Friday Frivolity is all about.
Thanks to our friend Eric for calling in and helping out tonight. Thanks to Pink Squirrel for calling in and chatting with us early in the show. Sorry you had "feedback" issues. On this Hump Day Episode of Trice Talk, Donald Wayne and Dennis Lee talk about President Trump and Joe Biden each doing their own Townhall specials; Republican's illegal (?) ballot collection boxes in California; an audio of Keith Olbermann ranting against Donald Trump and his supporters; an audio of Samuel Jackson urging people to vote in spite of Donald Trump and Early Voting issues in Georgia.
As always we appreciate Eric's participation and contributions to our show. We'd also like to thank Mr. Vino for being a first time caller into the show and participating in our discussions. And we want to thank Jess Duck for hanging around in our chat room and participating as well. Also thanks to Pertwee for participating by calling in and hanging out in the chat room. It's Friday Frivolity and after an exhausting week, Donald Wayne and Dennis Lee try to take a break from seriousness and talk about stories that either make you smile or scratch your head. For the last third of the show they play parts of clips from SNL's Jeopardy, Barry F'n Gibb Show, Robin Williams on Johnny Carson and a very short clip of George Carlin (Warning: We thought George Carlin was on the Tonight show and did not expect any profanity. However, about 15 seconds into his routine he drops the F bomb - once - before we can exit the clip. So if that word offends you - as soon as you hear Donald Wayne say do you like George Carlin- fast forward for about 60 seconds to avoid hearing the F bomb. We're sorry for the inconvenience). We end the show on a political note, but it is brief and sets the stage for Sunday's show.

Donald Wayne and Dennis Lee talk about tonight's VP Debate performances. They are joined by Eric, Ellie Jay and briefly by Robert. Also Pertwee and a few others dropped by in the Chat Room to comment on the debate. For some reason the conversation segued into talking about cannibalism, Hannibal Lecter and the "Andes Flight Disaster" (yes there is a brief discussion about what the survivors did to stay alive). I think the discussion stemmed from talking about eating chicken livers. Go figure. It doesn't take much for these guys to get off track. Thanks to Eric, Ellie Jay for participating in the discussions and for everyone else that dropped by.

Although it was supposed to be another Frivolous Friday Episode - the event of the day had to be addressed first. The guys did their usual opening segments and then spent some time talking about The President being diagnosed with Covid-19 and being taken to Walter Reed Hospital for observation and treatment. After that - they finished out the show playing TV Series theme songs and a quiz about famous commercials. Dennis Lee was competing against Eric and Slightly - and let's just say - Dennis Lee didn't win. As is typical on Friday nights, you can never be sure where the guys will take innocent comments.
As always, we appreciate Eric calling in and participating in the show. We also want to thank Slightly for dropping in and playing the quiz with us. And thanks to everyone else that dropped by tonight for awhile.

Like most Americans we are still shaking our heads in disbelief of that performance. But like one of our callers to the show tonight (Ellie Jay) said, "there is nowhere to go now but up". The guys share their opinions about that debate fiasco, as do Eric and Ellie Jay who called into the show. Thanks to all of you that joined us in the chat room or listened to the show. Donald Wayne and Dennis Lee had every intention of getting back to serious stuff on this Sunday night show. And to some extent they did do some serious topics. But for some reason, they were in a mood to laugh - and they did - several times. Between Donald Wayne describing an AOC press conference (with Schumer in tow) and Dennis Lee's ability to turn any of Donald Wayne's descriptions into something it wasn't meant to be, there was plenty to laugh at tonight. Maybe the guys will be serious on Wednesday night when they are supposed to talk about their impressions of Tuesday's Presidential Debate.
