"Pelosi Says She's Open to Overturning Republican Wind In Iowa District"  This article was written by Jack Phillips of the Epoch Times - in which he indicates that despite the Republican win of the House seat being certified by the state of Iowa - Nancy Pelosi may use a rule available to her by the Federal Contested Elections Act of 1969, to keep the Democrat - that lost the election - in their seat.  BTW - Democrats have done this before in 1985.
"Judicial Watch Wants to Kow More About Pelosi's Coup Attempt".  This article was written by Katie Pavlich of Townhall.com and references some comments from an article in a January 8th Wall Street Journal - written by the editorial staff.  Basically Nancy Pelosi overstepped her authority and possibly committed a crime by trying to interfere with President Trumps powers while he was still in office.

Episode - 108.5 - "Mini-Pod" - "Something Else Liberals Want Taxpayers To Pay For"

One this Episode of Trice Talk "Mini-Pod"  Donald Wayne talks about an article found on Mike Huckabee's Evening Edition newsletter.  Huckabee also references the original article that can be found on PJ Media.com which addresses an Executive Order that President Biden signed on January 25th that apparently didn't get a lot (if any) press.  This Executive Order directs the Secretary of Defense and Secretary of Homeland Security to "establish a process by which transgender service members may transition gender while serving".  This issues joins a long list of things that Liberals think should be the responsibility of American taxpayers.  The old saying goes - "it's easy to waste that you did not earn".  BTW - this is not an argument against people being able to do what they want with their own bodies.  It's about someone else having to "foot the bill".  Check out the episode and comment if you like at tricetalk69pts@gmail.com.

Episode - 107 - "Wacky Wednesday" - "Don't Eat The Bean Dip"

Our first official "Wacky Wednesday" - titled episode.  Donald Wayne has to play the "intro" song 3 times in an effort to convince listeners who the singer is.  See if you can figure it out on the first try.  Hint - he liked to sing with Dolly Parton.
As with all "frivolity" themed shows, Donald Wayne and Dennis Lee share some unusual stories: 
Woman looking for her real father finds out more than she expected;
Haunted guitars;
Man soaks in bean dip for 24 hours;
Employee training seminar includes removal of some clothing. 
The guys also do their "trademark" music "thing" for the show, which includes Dennis Lee awarding extremely high numbers of points for correct guesses regarding the songs.  And as always the points are entirely useless - well except maybe for bragging rights.  Some of the songs were really tough guesses this time (especially the weird ones Donald Wayne played).  So much so that our resident trivia expert Eric Kirk was stumped more than usual.  I think bp49, sean and Rick us got the most right, but Jess Duck got one or two as well {forgive me if I have this wrong - Podbean didn't make the show available for posting until this morning so I'm pulling from memory here - which is risky}.  While these segments are just for fun, we just might have a real prize attached to one of these in the near future.

Episode - 106 - "Barbie, A Noisy Asteroid, And Eyes Are Still On Texas"

Donald Wayne and Dennis Lee must have thought it was "Wacky Wednesday" as things were just a little more crazy than usual for a Tuesday night show.  Adding to the confusion was Slightly Serious trying to call in to the show - incognito as Scotty.  It took several minutes for some of our listeners (and Scotty) to convince us that the call was a legit one from Slightly.  As it turned out he was calling in to our show while he was still on the air.  We finally let him on and he explained what he had been trying to do.  Can't pull anything over on the Trice Talk guys!!!!  If only Eric Kirk had been on with us - he could have vouched for "Scotty". It made for a different opening for sure.  After the dust settled it was a "cool" thing for Slightly to do.  Eric did finally join us after the Slightly Surprise - by the way :-)..

Trice Talk "Mini-Pod" w/Donald Wayne.  Tonight I talk about Cancel Culture aiming to take out more relics from another time in our country.  Now the self appointed critics are offended by a skunk that has a French accent and a mouse with a Hispanic accent that can run really fast.  I also use an article that I found on Mike Huckabee's Evening Edition publication - written by staff writer Laura Ainsworth which addresses the attacks on of Dr. Seuss' books.   Laura also includes a parody at the end of her article which I share as well.  It's a neat parody in the style of HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS - called HOW THE LEFT STOLE READING.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
I would recommend that you check out Mike Huckabee's Morning/Evening Editions online.  The offer a variety of articles - often presented with a touch of the Governor's humor.

Episode - 104.5 - "HR1 - If You Thought Voting Last Year Was Messed Up"

Late Night Edition of Trice Talk "Mini-Pod" with Donald Wayne.  On this Episode I talk about the HR1 " For The People Act" that was passed by the House this week (Wednesday) and is now being deliberated in the Senate.  Using an article written by Tyler O'neil of PJ Media I touch on some areas of concern with this massive 800 page bill.  Issues such as:
Requiring all states to allow mail in ballots for all federal elections
Requires all states to allow the use of ballot drop-boxes
Requires all states to accept ballot that arrive in the mail - up to 10 days after the election if they were postmarked in time.
Allows felons who have completed their incarceration to vote
It includes funding program providing public financing of federal elections, matching small-dollar donations 6-1.
It creates a nationwide automatic voter registration program.
I encourage everyone to go on line and look at the bill - using the Index - look for the areas of voting issues you care about  and look over them.  Then if you agree there is reason to be concerned - contact your Senator and express those concerns.  Tell them not to support HR1.      Thanks for listening.
