Episode 156 - "Wacky Wednesday - Settling In"

Trice Talk "Live" - "Wacky Wednesday" w/Donald Wayne and Dennis Lee.  Our first night in the 9:30pm (ET) time slot.  A great night not to be serious. We saw a lot of new people come through the "Chat Room" tonight as well as some we have known for awhile.  It was the first time that (our friend) Lara's friend - Looo - dropped in to the show.  Cummings is Culture and Lady Meee also stopped by to say hi.  Crimson stopped by as well.  And bp49 came by for awhile to share his usual humorous comments on our stories.  Jess Duck and Eric came in just as we were closing the show tonight and we didn't get a chance to visit with them.  Of course we did close the show a little early tonight.  It was great seeing old and new names in the "Chat Room" for our first night at the new time.

Episode - 155 - "Even Necessary Changes - Involve Regrets"

Trice Talk Tuesday Night "Live" w/Donald Wayne and Dennis Lee.  Tonight was an abbreviated show - only 1 hour long.  After doing 155 Episodes at the 11pm timeslot - Trice Talk is moving to an earlier time - 9:30pm ET.  We were lucky enough that Eric and Lara called in tonight to spend a little time with us as we close out this chapter of Trice Talk.
We also want to thank our "Engagers" - Eric Kirk, bp49, Jess Duck, The Forgotten Tunes, Nonsense Password, TronCat, Mr. Clean Show, rafikoo40 and dudeskishawns.......and everyone else in the "Chat Room" - The Dark Bear, minstabasi, spicoli, Lucy W Jonathan, Sherlyn De LaTorre, Lingalonga, Rawi, castro, Sarmenti, Afua Afriyie, jaydog, kiriann, sirinpa93, melyh and many more.  Thank you for spending time with us tonight.   
We want to let everyone know we certainly have enjoyed and appreciated all of the friends of our show that have regularly dropped in to text or talk to us. Your participation made this podcast that much more fun.  Of course we are very thankful to have had the support and participation of Eric Kirk as he was a regular co-host for the better part of 9 months.  I am personally grateful to him for his willingness to fill in for Dennis Lee numerous times when he was unable to do the show. 
We are also extremely lucky to have had regulars like bp49 and Jess Duck who's banter in the chat room more often than not made us laugh/smile.   Other regulars like TronCat, Corazon, Sarmenti, Robert (The Mr. Clean Show), and The Forgotten Tunes all helped to make our "chat room fun and interesting.  And when time would permit them to do so - we enjoyed/welcomed the participation of Slightly Serious, Cummings is Culture, pertwee, pertweeshoneybee, Jon DiVito, MikeTampaBay, Meee and many more.  We have thoroughly enjoyed everyone's participation and support of what we have been doing with Trice Talk.  As Dennis Lee says most nights - "we couldn't do it without you".  It is our sincere hope that many of you will be able to catch us occasionally at our new time.  Or if not, we hope you will consider downloading our Episodes to see what is going on with Trice Talk.
Dennis Lee and I are hopeful that this new time slot will be a good fit for us and that we can expand our "Trice Talk family".  Just remember - everyone who has participated and encouraged us to this point will always be in our hearts as you are the ones that have enabled us to continue on with this dream of ours.  For that we will always be grateful.

Episode - 154 - "Mini-Pod" - "Critical Race Theory is Causing States To Choose Sides"

Trice Talk "Mini-Pod" w/Donald Wayne - tonight's feature article is "The Two America's" from Mike Huckabee's Evening Edition Newsletter.  Huckabee links to two separate articles found on legalinsurrection.com.
The first article is about Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt signing a bill that "bans" Critical Race Theory from Public Schools as well as colleges and universities.  This article was written by Mary Chastain.
The second article is about Washington Governor Jay Inslee signing a bill that "REQUIRES" Critical Race Theory  training for all school staff, board directors, teachers, and administrators in public schools across the state.  This article was written by Jeff Reynolds.
You might say that the future of America could very well be determined by how many states mandate CRT as opposed to how many reject CRT.  But just because a governor and state legislature push CRT - doesn't mean that the population of that state in in step with their actions.  As the article about Washington notes - there are people in the state that do not agree with the actions of the Legislature and Governor.  Maybe when these far left leaning politicians feel the "wrath" of the voters in their state during the next election, they may step back and rethink their commitment to CRT.  One can only hope and pray.

Tonight I share an article from Huckabee's Saturday Evening Newsletter and the article "Racism in the White House".  The article concerns white farmers being excluded from being able to take part in the loan forgiveness program and other benefits of one of the COVID relief bills. 
The Huckabee article links to a couple of Articles in the Western Journal which give more details on the basis for the suit as well as information on how the Biden tax hikes will affect farmers.

Rufo, who's name I mention quite frequently when I use articles from Mike Huckabee's Newsletters.  Rufo is the Founder and Director of Battlefront - a public policy research center.  He is also a contributing editor of City Journal, where he covers topics including critical race theory, homelessness, addiction, and crime. I hope you enjoy this well written and easy to understand article that describes one of the biggest threats we face today in American Society.
