I apologize, but I did not get the names of our "Engagers" or anyone else in the "Chat Room" tonight before closing the podcast.  I generally do that before I exit the podcast - but missed it tonight.  I will shout out to bp49 - who sent in the article as noted above.  Even though I had a difficult time trying to grasp the concept of the article, we appreciate bp for sending it to us.  Maybe someone who watches the link posted on Facebook can get back to us if they understand the whole "Simulation" concept.

Episode - 194 - "Hating The People You Represent"

Trice Talk "Mini-Pod" w/Donald Wayne. Tonight I use a single article about a subject that I first saw on the Greg Gutfeld Show this evening on Fox.  While I am not surprised by the story, I still found it disturbing because it was about someone who was going to represent our country in the Summer Olympics.  Then later after seeing that segment of the Gutfeld Show I noticed an article about the same subject on Newmax.com, which I will be posting on our Facebook page. 
The article is titled: White House Defends Gwen Berry US Flag Protest at Olympic Trials. The article is by Fran Beyer and was posted on Monday June 28th, 2021.  Basically the story is about Gwendolyn Berry, who was a third place medal winner in the Olympic TeamTrials being held in Eugene Oregon last week.  While she was on the field getting her medal they played the National Anthem and she turned away from the American Flag and - look at the picture on our Facebook page - stood there with her hand on one hip looking like she hated everything about the experience.  Anyway - I talk about this and the fact that the White House isn't bothered by the fact that an American athlete that is "representing" our country is going to use her position to tell the world that she thinks our country is bad and that she doesn't care about our flag or national anthem as it doesn't represent her.  My question is - then why is she being allowed to represent us?  Would a company hire someone to represent them if they knew that person hated the company and would only talk bad about them?????  Where are the Olympic leaders?  Gwen has the right to have her own views and express them when it is appropriate.  But not when she is representing the very country that gave her the opportunity to be there in the first place.   Anyway - you can form your own opinion after you hear the entire story.

Episode - 193 - "Add Another Candle To The Cake"

Trice Talk Sunday Night "Live" w/Donald Wayne and Dennis Lee.  After experiencing some technical issues which halted last Thursday night's podcast, we solved enough of the issues to get back on the air tonight.  While I wasn't wanting to make a big deal out of my birthday being today - Dennis Lee decided to make it public knowledge.  And I just wanted to thank everyone for the kind Birthday wishes and MikeTampaBay for the numerous hand clap gifts.
Since we were not sure that we could pull off the show tonight, we kind of "winged" our way through the night with a variety of short comments on issues in the news and as well as responses to comments made by our listeners in the "Chat Room".  While not the in depth comments like we are known for, we did touch base on the following issues:

Episode - 191 - "The Episode That Almost Wasn't"

Trice Talk Tuesday Night "Live" w/Donald Wayne and Dennis Lee.  Dennis Lee and I both had to work late tonight with our "paying" jobs, so we almost passed on doing a show tonight.  In fact I had decided to just do a "non-live" "Mini-Pod."  But at the last minute we were able to connect and decided to go ahead with the "live" show.  Being a Tuesday, there is a fair amount of serious conversation about some awful events that occurred over the weekend.  But for some reason (Jess Duck) typed a comment about ice cream and that was "all it took" to spend our remaining time talking about all kinds of food issues - ice cream, pies, tuna foot longs at Subway, breakfast at Waffle House and Cracker Barrel, sausages and yes even our favorite planet entered into the conversation.  Some of the - ahhh - more serious stuff covered tonight:
Lying Chuck Schumer - upset because the Senate could not overcome the "filabuster" regarding the S1 Voters Rights Bill - accused Republican led states of passing laws that would keep minorities from voting.  And the part that "gets my goat" is that crap about Republicans denying people standing in voting lines the right to have food and water given to them.  Who in the hell can't plan their meals around their desire to vote.  Eat before or after you go, not standing in line exercising your right to vote.  "Focus People".  Put a couple of packs of peanut butter and crackers in your pocket and a bottle of water if you think you are going to go into a crisis mode while standing in line.  You need spending more time considering your candidate choices and less time worrying about someone giving you a free sandwich.
Oakland crowd twerks on ambulance, blocks responders after deadly shooting...there is a video of a woman twerking on the hood of an ambulance that was trying to navigate through a crowd to transport victims of a shooting to a hospital.  The video I saw showed a party like atmosphere, not long after several people were shot and one was killed.
And in Chicago - a Man was killed while celebrating Puerto Rican Day Parade.  His pregnant wife was also shot and is in critical condition.  Why is the media not calling this a hate crime in this instance?  Maybe because the shooter wasn't white.

The first article is "Colorado Governor Signs Bill Allowing Cities to Set Their Own Gun-Control Laws".  Colorado is giving the "ball" to individual cities to do with as they see fit.  That is as long as they don't try to step on Colorado State Laws.
The second article is "Portland Police Union Blames Officials Who Criticized Officers for Mass Resignations".  This story was all over the news for several days when the officers declared they would no longer participate in their volunteer roles in the Rapid Response Teams.

From the Western Journal - "The McClosky's Plead Guilty...the St. Louis Missouri couple that stood on their front porch with weapons as protesters who broke into their gated community allegedly threatened them as well as their property.  The pleaded guilty to a lesser chargers than what were originally filed by the local D.A. against them to escape any chance of jail time.  But should they have ever been charged in the first place?  Apparently none of the protesters that were trespassing on private property were ever charged with a crime.
