Episode - 194 - "Hating The People You Represent"

Trice Talk "Mini-Pod" w/Donald Wayne. Tonight I use a single article about a subject that I first saw on the Greg Gutfeld Show this evening on Fox.  While I am not surprised by the story, I still found it disturbing because it was about someone who was going to represent our country in the Summer Olympics.  Then later after seeing that segment of the Gutfeld Show I noticed an article about the same subject on Newmax.com, which I will be posting on our Facebook page. 

The article is titled: White House Defends Gwen Berry US Flag Protest at Olympic Trials. The article is by Fran Beyer and was posted on Monday June 28th, 2021.  Basically the story is about Gwendolyn Berry, who was a third place medal winner in the Olympic TeamTrials being held in Eugene Oregon last week.  While she was on the field getting her medal they played the National Anthem and she turned away from the American Flag and - look at the picture on our Facebook page - stood there with her hand on one hip looking like she hated everything about the experience.  Anyway - I talk about this and the fact that the White House isn't bothered by the fact that an American athlete that is "representing" our country is going to use her position to tell the world that she thinks our country is bad and that she doesn't care about our flag or national anthem as it doesn't represent her.  My question is - then why is she being allowed to represent us?  Would a company hire someone to represent them if they knew that person hated the company and would only talk bad about them?????  Where are the Olympic leaders?  Gwen has the right to have her own views and express them when it is appropriate.  But not when she is representing the very country that gave her the opportunity to be there in the first place.   Anyway - you can form your own opinion after you hear the entire story.
